So for the TFMSX I am almost there. ..
Design decisions...
1. Ditch Cassette Interface.
2. No 12V on the board (or expansion port).
3. No Printer Port.
4. Keyboard will be via the ARM solution like the TF Riser.
5. Video will be buffered using the same buffer chip as the TF Riser.
Anything i missed?

I'm always blown away by the speed in which you create this stuff.
Now I do like the MSX, and emulate it often with my MiSTer, so this is making me start looking at buying one
Great work Sir!
I imagine the MSX community is less 'up it's own arse' than the Amiga one, and as such you will be revered as a god.
I take it you have a decent .vhd for content?

Very cool project =D Always wanted to get an MSX, but they seem a bit pricey and so many different models - hard to know which to go for. This would make it nice and small and feature complete =D

It helps not to care if the first prototype works or not.
I've no intention of getting involved with the MSX community. I hear its on a par with Amigaland and honestly.... i'd rather read every tech manual ever written than interact with a know it all on a forum ever again .

Oddballs get everywhere I suppose. I was just expecting them to gravitate to one systemterriblefire wrote: ↑Sat Mar 20, 2021 2:11 pm I've no intention of getting involved with the MSX community. Re: TFMSX Design (Almost complete)
May I ask about parts availability? Is it possible to get them as NOS or those need to be acquired from MSX?
Do not trust people. They are capable of greatness.
