Diagnostic cartridges starting to appear back in stock.
https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/store2/#0165

The small price jump is down to the ever increasing ROM prices. :( while I have some they are being split across dual tos ROMs as well, so not sure how long they will all ultimately last. I may have to simply stop doing some items until parts shortages are over..which could be never at the rate things are going

The ST2VGA adapters should start appearing back in stock tomorrow. Though there won't be many, about 20. This is because china messed the batch up and I don't have time to fix them all. I do hope to start a new new batch in a couple of weeks.

The MMU plugin 4MB RAM expansion boards (0035) are currently being assembled at pcbway this time. Trying them out and kinda have a bit mixed experience with them so far. But like every other China fab, they seem a bit of a effort to deal with

The good point is they checked they had the header pins in correctly. I sent them the DRAM myself as I had already purchased them a while back. But they say they are oxidised and $50 more to tin plate them

Anyway, wasn't intending to get into a review. Just a quick update to say they are in production and waiting for pcbway to build them up this time. I built a small batch up myself last time. But lack of time and painful hands are as always the limiting factors for me doing stuff lately.

The production of these got delayed somewhat because of parts shortages again. I had to find supplies for the connectors multiple times. By the time I found a supplier for one thing, another supplier went out of stock on something else. It has been a total nightmare :( You would not believe how much variation there is in LED brightness and current ratings. I matched the current limiting resistors to the LED so they appeared same brightness on my prototype, only to find those LEDs are now out of stock. So I had to wade through datasheets to find something would be mostly compatible. But in the end I basically had to make a calculated "guess" on the resistor for the green LED because I have no way of trying them until the boards arrive. It is not really a huge issue if one LEDs brighter than the other. If it bugs people then you can always change the resistor to a higher value anyway.

This new board is now smaller and uses a "more standard" smaller USB connector. Suitable cables are sold in my store. I think pretty much everyone would have one of these cables from some phone charger anyway. Because of the LEDs and a load resistor, hopefully it will be more compatible with lesser quality USB power adapters. Though as said previously, avoid "fast chargers" as they can spike up to several volts could likely kill something!

It now has a "USB power" LED, and also a "power on" LED. The on switch has been removed and is now done automatically when you turn off your Falcon. As of course you should not be changing the oscillator with the Falcon turned on anyway! so now when you turn off your Falcon it will automatically power down the oscillator.

Because I do not have time to make these myself they are being made in China. Because of the cost in shipping the DB19 Connectors back-and-forth I will have to fit them myself when they arrive.

The ETA of me getting the boards is about three weeks. But then I have to find time to fit the connectors and test them which could add on another few weeks. But I will at least try and get a feeling the store as soon as possible because I know people are waiting for them.

ST536 030 booster
A new batch of the birdseed board is now in production. Current ETA is about 2 weeks.

MEGA DUALTOS ROM PCB
A new batch is in production.Current ETA is about 2 weeks.

I have built up almost 100 of them this time. I do not plan on making any more of these because of the sheer amount of time involved in obtaining & testing CPUs and GALs which function fast enough.

STE DAC NOISE FIX PCB V2 finally now back in stock.

These boards have the SMT parts assembled. They slightly smaller than the original board but otherwise identical. They do require the two tabs carefully breaking off the boards.

If you have stable at the issues, in particular when using a accelerator with a H5 A1 or B1 Revision board, it may have been fitted with 4.7K bus pullups (please check before ordering). If you experience stability issues then fitting this board should help alleviate the problems. There is no need to fit this board on the C1 series of boards. These boards come part assembled with the SMT resistor packs pre-installed. You need to fit the header strips yourself.
