What is current situation with CDTV? Will CD-drive work?

Currently CD boots 2 - 4 times out of 10

Sorry my mistake, some how I thought that TF536 findings are magically transferred to TF534 sources.

What happens if you go to "early startup menu" and choose boot from CD? That would require KS3.1 and at least 2.3 version of extended roms.
