Important info regarding Atari Yahoo Groups.

Post by detheridge »

Hi folks,
as moderator and member of various Yahoo groups, including the Atari MIDI archives group, I'm sharing this important notice:

"All members please note.

Yahoo has made the decision to no longer allow users to upload content to the Yahoo Groups site. Beginning October 21, you won't be able to upload any more content to the site, and as of December 14 all previously posted content on the site will be permanently removed. You'll have until that date to save anything you've uploaded.

https://help.yahoo.com/kb/groups/SLN310 ... sions=true
PLEASE COPY ANYTHING YOU NEED OFF THIS SITE NOW !"

If you're a member of any Atari music related group, make sure you save those important files before they vanish completely.

Best wishes,
David

Is that just the Atari groups or a site wide thing?
I did not know Yahoo Groups were even still being used enough these days
The links says the groups will still stay but become private odd decision that.

Possibly, but the link seems to require a login...

Ah forget it... that the file tab is empty apparently does not mean, there are no files in the messages ;)
