PiStorm Chat
Re: PiStorm Chat
@Badwolf do yourself a favour and don't use the child-designed ADHD inspired client they provide you with. Use Ripcord: https://cancel.fm/ripcord/
Re: PiStorm Chat
Ah, I'm not even a client man. If it's a client it has to run commandline so I can ssh into it.Steve wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 12:01 pm @Badwolf do yourself a favour and don't use the child-designed ADHD inspired client they provide you with. Use Ripcord: https://cancel.fm/ripcord/
I'm on the web client now and slowly reading through the backscroll. There are some bridged channels to IRC, which is more my thing, but not Atari, unfortunately.

Re: PiStorm Chat
@Badwolf yes but I think you're missing my point. Ripcord makes Discord more like IRC, with an IRC like client, no bells or whistles. So if IRC is your thing, then Ripcord should be too.
Re: PiStorm Chat
And I think you're missing by bit about command line:
Code: Select all
dh219@gin:/tmp$ ./Ripcord-0.4.29-x86_64.AppImage
qt.qpa.screen: QXcbConnection: Could not connect to display localhost:10.0
Could not connect to any X display.

Re: PiStorm Chat
You trying to do X11 forwarding for an Appimage? I just install it from my repos natively. It's a QT app so not command line based.
Re: PiStorm Chat
Yeah the £15 price was realistic when the CPLD were £5 each.
Now you are lucky to get them under £15. You could always try the aliexpress lottery. I doubt that would end fun for a single item purchase though. In my experience with them, you can order ten and get anywhere between 10 and 2 working.
It's probably best to buy them built from @go0se, I imagine he tests them before posting.

OK, cool. Am on the discord now, but will probably take me six years to navigate it.

Re: PiStorm Chat
Hmm, wait a moment.
What's this chip right here on the dev board that I mad my first foray into verilog with..?
Not sure that's a good idea, TBH. It may not have been in great condition when I first received it (throw-away-mail from China) & who knows what I've put it through.
