I think @rubber_jonnie has 8 bit OCD. Obsessive Collecting Disorder. Some say he's 8bits short of a full 16bit bus.

@exxos I resemble that remark...

As for it being *fairly" close, I used to work near there IIRC, and I can't agree with that statement :D

It's probably close on a 2 1/2 hour journey from where I live now, partly by tube and I'd be worried all day about getting my purchases home and how much the damn petrol cost :dizzy:

Been to them all since they opened back up after lockdown, has a bit of everything not much ST stuff tbh, they normally have a stand where the guy has loads of refurbed lynx's and game gears all running and looking immaculate, one day I will take the plunge with one i'm sure.

Last one was really busy and they pack up pretty quickly near the end as most have quite far to go, one stand was from cornwall!

Lots of 'toys' too and pokemon stuff (if your into that), its the only reason my daughter wants to come. Great pizza place next to Russel square station too.

It sounds a good event. Reminds me of the old radio / computer rally's I used to go to. It's hard to find Atari stuff outside of evilbay these days :(

Definitely worth it this year, not much ST stuff at all (a few games here and there) but i found some Atari 8 bit stuff under one stand near the end, was just looking at the 65xe and the women just wanted rid of all of it, 15 quid for the whole suitcase!

I bit her hand off, 15 quid got me the 65xe + 2 tape decks (1 Atari branded), 3 PSU's, tons of cables, 15 cartridges, 30 games on tape and a load of manuals. I'm glad it was in a suitcase, weighed a ton and I nearly broke my back getting it home on the tube, worth it though but all needs a thorough clean.

You never know what you might find at one of these shows. . . . . :D
