I'm going to start with 64 and see how I go. :-)

Anyway, seeing as I'm waiting on parts to arrive I've been doing more railway stuff. Painting the cork between the tracks brown as a base layer before putting scenery on top and refining and printing more walls, coping and drains for the station platforms.

Hopefully the postie will deliver the TexElec pads tomorrow. (I should also have a complete set of brake discs and pads for the SAAB. The shock absorber cartridges are stuck in customs from Ireland.) On Wednesday I'll get the motherboard connectors for the Apricot expansion slots and conductive paint.

The PCBs are ready to ship from PCBWay so they should be on their way tomorrow morning. They could arrive Friday. I just have to find the SRAM chip(s) I have somewhere, along with some 74LS373s and 74LS244s. I know where the GALs and 10K resistor matrixes are.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...

Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Well, I'm in courier purgatory...

The SAAB brake discs and pads were due to arrive between 10:19am and 12:19pm (why odd minute values?) and it's now almost twenty to two and still nothing.

Similarly no sign of the mail, so no TexElec pads yet.

The shock absorber cartridges are still stuck in Ireland in customs apparently.

The voltage regulator "has arrived in the destination country".

*sigh*

I feel your pain after my recent spell of parcel purgatory. I'm now just in the vague 'waiting for stuff I ordered over easter' phase.

Well, at least you know that's not been dispatched yet.

Having said that, the ZuluSCSI I ordered two weeks ago from eBay hasn't yet been dispatched and the "returns accepted" date is 4th April.

As it goes my stuff has actually been dispatched, but got to wait until end of this week, start of next for delivery. Moral of the story, don't order stuff over a bank holiday.

Yeah... though I do know that the PCBs I ordered on Sunday are now with the courier in China so may get here by the end of the week. Hopefully the RS Components order will arrive tomorrow too.

And how do they compare to your home-made replacements?

Without taking them out of the bag, they're 4mm thick rather than my 6mm ones, which will give them 2mm more travel. They may be slightly less firm.
