Making an STFM DEV / Test Board

In my journey working with exxos and building boards for the STFM I have been building an STFM DEV / Test board. This is an STFM that had seen better days that I managed to get off of evilBay for a very low price as it was listed for spares and repairs. It had a few issues such as the case was obliterated into many pieces and was unsalvageable. The thing did not boot. To cut to the chase I got the board working again and started going about setting it up as a DEV / Test board. The motherboard is a C070789-001 REV.C

So here is where it is so far:
  1. Applied various mandatory fixes as listed here
    - https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... =17&t=1585
  2. Desolder 68000 chip and put in a turned DIL socket so that booster or die boards etc can be put in to test
  3. Shifter was already socketed so that saved my the hassle
  4. Added headers onto some the vias for HSYNC and ACSI_10 for the HDMI / DVI board and IDE Board
  5. Board came with 512KB so installed the extra chips to take it to 1MB
    - At some point I may socket all these so I can try out different memory upgrade options
  6. Desoldered the 1772 to be able to test the 1772 buffer board that was created for the STF Remake

I don't think so. You have to edit that. ;)

That'll be why you mentioned making a dev board the other day then.

Good spot - Was in a rush going out the door. Never press send without re-reading :) - Corrected

Today I have added a make shift dev socket for Blitter testing. This is for the Blitter Re-creation https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/forum/viewt ... ?f=29&t=79
