Hello all!
I finally registered to this forum, and as the subject says, I am the guy that in the old days was known as TFE of Omega.
Today however, I feel more comfortable with my given name: Mikael, or by my surname that also is my username.
So what happened to me after my Atari ST demo days?
Well a lot.
More than I have energy to describe, and probably a lot more than you have energy to read or even care about
But overall, I have worked as a software developer for different companies, where I guess Autodesk is the most known of them.
My work there included real time raytracing (many years before it was cool).
Today I have more or less retired from professional software development and only developes as a hobby, and mainly for the Atari ST line of computers.
One of my long time projects is to make gcc cross compiler with full library support and with remote debugging for the ST.
I have the dream of having a fully modern IDE on a PC and doing remote development with full debugging towards a unexpanded ordinary 520 ST.
It's getting close to a beta stage, but lots are still to be done...

Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

hi! I would be interested in remote debugging part details. Well cross compiling too (I'm also using cross compilers for ST and up my projects). I've worked on prototype of DAP protocol for ST and up (used in VScode for instance), but still I don't have a stub to talk to ;(.. And of course it needs more work too.. And yeah, Grotesque was great..
