DSTB1: new firmware release (22020531)

Post by Badwolf »

https://github.com/dh219/DSTB/releases/tag/20220531

I've released a new firmware. This fixes a number of problems:-
  • Improved AltRAM controller now should be stable on more platforms
  • The 'slow release' of DTACK on pre-STE YM chips should now be handled
  • Blitter access to AltRAM now allowed again (testing feedback solicited)
  • TOS2.06 decoding now available on Test Point 1
  • LED now lights on AltRAM access
  • May be booted into 8MHz mode by connecting TP3 to GND via 220Ohm resistor at reset
The compromise to all the above is that write access is slightly slower in this version. I think that's a fair trade off for an early developmental board.

Also: there is no manual yet. Anyone fancy starting one?

DFB1 Open source 50MHz 030 and TT-RAM accelerator for the Falcon
DSTB1 Open source 16Mhz 68k and AltRAM accelerator for the ST
Smalliermouse ST-optimised USB mouse adapter based on SmallyMouse2

@Badwolf Does "TOS2.06 decoding now available on Test Point 1" mean I connect TP1 to 'CE'? Thanks

Yeah TP1 is CE on the H5 or dualtos boards etc.
