Mounting HATARI partition-image on Windows 11
Mounting HATARI partition-image on Windows 11
Anyone knows how to do this? I tried with built-it Windows mounter but I'm getting a message that my image is corrupted (and it refuses to work with any other HATARI img file I got). WinCD Emu - the same story. PowerISO is able to list the files inside the partition at least but also refuses to mount it as a device. There is no problem with that on MacOS or Windows 10 + WinCD Emu though...

I don't think Atari partitions are windows compatible? It's effectively the same as an Atari drive, just not byte swapped afaik.

It seems, they are standard FAT16 ones (I use PP driver)... everything flies on MacOS w/o any issue.

Re: Mounting HATARI partition-image on Windows 11
Partitions made with PPs tools/driver should be 100% visible under Windows, I have used them many times with SD cards and everything works just fine.
Where I suspect it's failing is that the image file is different to what Windows is expecting for a virtual hard disk and therefore can't mount it. I have experienced similar issues with image files.
If you are trying to copy files to the image using a windows machine, there is another way.
In Hatari, mount your image file and also create a GEMDOS folder. The GEMDOS folder is visible to Windows and Hatari and you can use it as a middleman to move over your files to the disk image.
