Hello,
Following this recent thread, I looked at this fix again.
If I understand correctly the fix, one could replace R539 (51K) and the new 10K resistor by an equivalent resistance of 8360 Ohm ( = 1/(1/51000 + 1/10000) ) ? Meaning a 8K2 resistance ?
STe LMC fix again : equivalent resistance ?
Re: STe LMC fix again : equivalent resistance ?
I wouldn't go off the proper values as they are biasing resistors. Not worth the hassle in rediagnosing the changes to the circuit. You have to use the proper values and they need a center tap.

Just because a lot of people agree on something, doesn't make it a fact. ~exxos ~
People should find solutions to problems, not find problems with solutions.

Re: STe LMC fix again : equivalent resistance ?
Thanks @exxos, that is exactly why I ask the question. Those parts are waaaay beyond my understanding, so I would not want to do an improper "optimization".
