Re: PC keyboard duplicates space keystrokes

Thanks for the replies.

It's a mechanical keyboard, not an expensive gamer keyboard, but not a very cheap keyboard either:

Edit: For some reason a link to Amazon doesn't work.

PC keyboard duplicates space keystrokes

My PC keyboard suddenly started to repeat space keystrokes. Whenever I hit the space bar, it produces two (sometimes three) spaces. I read that this mean that it likely needs some cleaning. Ok, so I remove the space bar and perform a quick cleanup of the area and the bar itself. It works ok ... for ...

Re: Wireless keyboard

There was a Bluetooth adapter for Atari ST / Falcon that plugs in-line to the keyboard connector inside. Supported Bluetooth keyboard, mouse and Joypad. Thanks. I found a couple of github repositories. This seems to be the most relevant one: https://github.com/fieldofcows/atari-st-rpikb Ijor are yo...

Re: Wireless keyboard

At one point I fancied to use ESP32 microcontrollers to make a bluetooth host plugged to the ikbd port of the motherboard, and a bluetooth device plugged to the ikbd port of the keyboard, in order to : I would love to have something like that :) Obviously, I have tons of other projects that took pr...

Wireless keyboard

Nobody makes any kind of wireless keyboard adapter, USB or Bluetooth? I want something tiny that would let me disconnect and replace the main keyboard when working with the computer open. I do a lot of work like that, and I find that in such cases the main keyboard still connected doesn't help acces...

Re: Plugging ZIF socket into soldered socket

Alternatively, jamming the ZIF socket into a wiper socket is quick and simple (assuming the ZIF isn't to wide for the socket), also assuming you never want to remove the ZIF socket again. Otherwise the socket will have to be changed. That sounds like a good solution. But can I use an intermediate w...

Plugging ZIF socket into soldered socket

I need to plug a ZIF socket into a regular socket soldered on the motherboard. I can't desolder the motherboard socket, everything should be plug-in. The space is pretty tight, so I will probably need a low profile socket. There seem to be two types of ZIF sockets. One with legs so called "sold...
